Taste (5/10)
I must say that I'm usually a fan of Sun Chips. They remind me of summer and are highly enjoyable with a nice sandwich. The taste within the Garden Salsa chip however, was in my opinion, sorely lacking. It just wasn't salsa-y enough. Enough said.
Crunch (6.5/10)
The crunch was good, but not as good as say, a Ms Vicki's variety. Crunch is probably one of the most important categories for a true chip 'sommelier', if you will. If a chip doesn't crunch right, it's just not a good chip. The Sun Chips GS were just average. I'm looking for more.
Thickness (7/10)
Chips makers must be able to successfully flirt with the thin/thick line in order to deliver the best chip experience possible. The makers of Sun Chips have some room for growth here.
Packaging (5/10)
The colours on the packaging were nice, but the pictures really left something to be desired. Salsa was depicted exactly nowhere on the chip bag. What the fuck, Sun Chips, seriously. I should have known right then that tonight would be a disappointment.
Final Grade: C+
